Synopsis: Ketch My Drift sets sail for a semester at sea with eight college co-eds who compete for a $100,000 scholarship that will be awarded to the most Green Philanthropic Adventurer.  It’s Oprah meets Survivor with a twist of Jersey Shores.  Co-eds experience transformation as they learn to “be the change” by being impelled into value forming experiences.  Each episode drops anchor in a new exotic location where these students will: Journey, Explore, Evaluate, Act, and be Assessed.
 
Co-eds will be selected from video applications on a nation-wide web promotion.  Adventures and events invite audience participation via multi-media and will have a direct influence on outcomes.
 
Sample Episode Arc in 44 minutes:
 
Opening Teaser (1 min. 30 sec.): While sailing to the next location, one of the co-eds bad-mouths others while in the “Confession Cabin” as a teaser montage mirrors coming conflicts and challenges.
 
Journey (4 min. 30 sec.): Difficulties of the passage nearly erupt when, “Land Ho” and co-eds are greeted by a professor to introduce the episode location and challenges.
 
Explore (13 min.): Co-eds go on a series of 3 to 4 minute adventures which gradually reveal underlying local issues of ecological and humanitarian concern.
 
Evaluate (10 min. 30 sec.): Granted a $10,000 budget, co-eds must develop an encompassing project to meet the challenge of “leave it better than you found it.”  Local and global allies must be made to help overcome the obstacles of their plan.
 
Act (7 min. 30 sec.): Co-eds go on activist team missions to “be the change” they wish to see in the world.
 
Assessment (6 min.): Professor meets with co-eds to evaluate their project and the success of their execution.  The co-eds are then challenged by a special guest for a crazy Extra Credit Quiz that is a series of obstacles which creatively reveals the mastery of learning objectives.
 
Reflection (1 min.): Co-ed from “Teaser” expresses personal transformation in the “Confession Cabin” as a montage of new footage reflects the personal growth that came from facing obstacles in that episode.
